We are looking for a Quantum Design Engineer who will join our team of physicists to realize the ParityQC Architecture using superconducting qubits, in collaboration with our hardware partners.
Your Tasks
This position is focused on the theoretical study of superconducting circuits in order to develop novel quantum processor architectures. You will be analyzing the performance of quantum algorithms on superconducting circuit hardware. In addition, you have the opportunity to be involved in the development of tools for the design and optimization of superconducting circuits. This position comes with a unique blend of research-heavy investigations and application-driven simulations.
Skills & Experience
Required Skills & Experience
PhD or Master degree in physics or related subject
Understanding of quantum computation and quantum information
Programming skills, in particular Python
High degree of creativity and proactiveness
Fluency in English
Preferred Experience
Understanding of the fundamental concepts of superconducting qubits
What we offer
We are a spinoff working in one of the most exciting emerging technology fields. There are no long-time proven concepts on what we are doing – we need to invent everything from scratch, and we are therefore able to shape a whole new generation of computing. We are pioneers in this field and develop the blueprints for the upcoming generations. The position also offers the possibility to conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
Why ParityQC?
Excellent work-life balance
Flexible working hours with home office options
An innovative and international working environment
Continuous training and encouragement of personal development
Hard Facts
Job: full time
Hours of work per week: 38,5 h
Remuneration based on experience
Place: Innsbruck
How to apply
