The International Graduate School in Quantum Technologies provides a comprehensive PhD training programme covering the advancement and application of Quantum Technologies from fundamental physics to practical technologies. The School is run in partnership between the Universities of Strathclyde, University of Glasgow and Heriot-Watt University. We have several fully funded 3.5 year PhD positions in the three broad areas of Quantum Measurement and Sensing, Quantum Computing and Simulation, and Quantum Communications and Networks. Alongside these academic projects, we have a number of industrial PhD studentships available, offering the unique opportunity to work embedded in an industrial R&D team at companies leading the development of commercial quantum technologies.
