The Group of Optical Communication at the Civil, Aeronautical and Computer Science Engineering Department of Università Roma Tre, Rome, Italy is looking for a 2-YEAR POSTDOC to work with Dr. Matteo Rosati on the PNRR project “Smart Quantum Information Decoders”.
The research will focus on studying optical designs of collective information decoders for classical, entanglement-assisted and secure communication on quantum channels. The project is open to both analytical and numerical (machine-learning oriented) research directions, depending on the candidate’s profile.
The ideal candidate has a background in one or more of the following topics: infinite-dimensional (continuous-variable) quantum systems; quantum-enhanced communication; quantum optics and photonics.
The application DEADLINE is JANUARY the 19th 2024.
