With sites in Strasbourg, Reims, and Troyes, MaQuEst connects research, industry, and innovation to accelerate the adoption of quantum technologies and support concrete applications in fields like AI, biotech, finance, and logistics.
Mission Summary – HPC & Quantum Research Engineer
The engineer will contribute to the development of MaQuEst (Maison du Quantique Grand Est), led by the European Center for Quantum Sciences (CESQ) at the University of Strasbourg. They will provide scientific and technical expertise tailored to the needs of academic and industrial partners, with a particular focus on hybrid quantum computing. A key aspect of the role is to ensure software integration and interoperability between the aQCess platform and national infrastructures such as Eviden, GENCI, and ROMEO.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement software solutions for hybrid quantum computing based on partner needs.
Act as technical liaison to ensure compatibility across platforms (aQCess, Eviden, GENCI, ROMEO).
Design and deliver training modules on hybrid computing.
Support scientific and technical events (e.g. hackathons, workshops, thematic schools).
Conduct ongoing monitoring of technological advances in quantum computing, high-performance programming, and hybrid architectures.
