The Mobile World Congress is coming back to Barcelona from 28 February to 3 March.
After the last 2021 edition, which finally took place the last week of June, this year the Mobile World Congress 2022 returns to Barcelona and once again at the end of February, as it has normally been celebrated. This edition will take place in a hybrid format, with event organizers expecting an audience of 60,000 people to attend the venue in person.
As for quantum technologies, the Quantum Flagship will have a devoted place in the NEXTech Hall 6, in the 4YFN – Four Years from Now space, a hall devoted mainly to showcase state-of-the-art start-ups as well as the latest in innovation and novel strategic areas that are in a fast pace growth, with a dedicated space for quantum technologies at the Frontiers Tech programme.
The Quantum Flagship stand will exhibit the latest achievements in quantum technologies from its 21 projects, counting on the presence of four start-up companies within the flagship’s landscape, LuxQuanta, Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, Quside and IQM quantum computers, which will have a space in the stand to showcase their products and technologies, meet with potential investors and build relationships and future collaborations with the industrial networks of visitors. It will also host a space for Quantum regional initiatives around Europe, which aim to share with the mobile ecosystem audience the quantum programs being addressed by these different countries and regions around Europe to help them position themselves as leaders in this field.
Finally, Jaya Baloo, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Avast Software and Vice-Chair of the Quantum Flagship Strategic Advisory Board, has been invited by GSMA to participate in the panel discussion “5G Security: A New Threat Landscape”, which will take place on Monday 28th at the Broadcast Stage.
