A report has been published outlining the main orientation and recommendations for a European strategy in QT, provided by the Quantum Technology Coordination Group (QTCG). This group brings together experts from all 27 EU member states and relevant Quantum Flagship bodies such as QCN, QuIC and the SAB, under the coordination of the EC.
The report makes recommendations in three main areas: research, talent and impact; quantum infrastructure; industrialisation and standardisation. These should feed into the future ‘Quantum Strategy’ of the EU, which is currently being drafted, and which received feedback from over 160 individuals and organisations in a recent public consultation.
