The International Max Planck Research School for Quantum Dynamics in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (IMPRS-QD) offers excellent research opportunities in the fields of chemical, biomolecular, relativistic and ultra-short quantum dynamics, ultra-cold quantum matter, quantum information and quantum electrodynamics, supervised by leading experts in these disciplines.
Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics (MPIK), Heidelberg University
The Alfréd Rényi Institute is developing a new Masters course in Quantum Computing in the hope of attracting strong PhD candidates to this topic. The novel aspect of its new course will be to approach the theory of quantum algorithms from the perspective of the recent “Grand Unification of Quantum Algorithms”.
The Eötvös Loránd University is developing new course on post-quantum cryptography encompassing all of its current major branches, including lattice-based, multivariate, code-based, hash-based and isogeny-based cryptography. This will be one of the first such Master / Phd courses in Europe on this increasingly important topic, and it will be offered first in the spring semester (the course will most likely be split into two semesters). The university also plans to hire PhD students pursuing related research.
Training for industry,
QWorld (Association) is a non-profit global organization that brings quantum computing researchers & enthusiasts together. Our main goal is to popularize quantum technologies and software. Also, through education and skill development opportunities, QWorld is training the next generation of quantum scientists.
Master in Quantum Science and Technology @ Barcelona
The Master in Quantum Science and Technologies is aimed at graduates in Physics, Physical Engineering or equivalent degrees who want to continue specialization studies in Quantum Science and Technologies. The master provides access to 60+ cutting-edge theoretical and experimental research groups across 3 universities and 4 research centres, working on quantum sensing, communication, computing and simulation, fields aligned with major pillars of the European Quantum Flagship. The program is taught by 30+ expert professors, and covers the core concepts of quantum science & technology, as well as practical tools and techniques. Engagement with industry is prominent, with high-tech companies actively participating in teaching, offering internships, seminars and a careers symposium. The program provides access to PhD programs at the participating institutes, and will advance the future careers of students interested in working in academia or industry in this exciting and fast-moving field.

The QMat “initiative of excellence” is an international integrated MSc and PhD program of the University of Strasbourg, which prepares the next generation of scientists and engineers to shape the future in quantum science and nanotechnology
Quantum-enhanced Sensing via Quantum Control (QuSCo)
QuSCo strives to develop a best practise for PhD training in emerging quantum technologies using the example of quantum-enhanced sensing via quantum control, by providing cross-sectional and interdisciplinary training to its fellows.
Quantum Communications for ALL (QCALL) is a European Innovative Training Network that endeavours to take the next necessary steps to bring the developing quantum technologies closer to the doorsteps of end users. QCALL will empower a nucleus of 15 doctoral researchers in this area to provide secure communications in the European continent and, in the long run, to its connections worldwide
