About MaQuEst:

MaQuEst (Maison du Quantique Grand Est) is a project led by the University of Strasbourg in partnership with academic institutions (UTT, URCA, Inria-UL) and industry players (Euro-Information, QPerfect, Damavan Imaging, Eviden). Our partnership also includes Quest for Change and Grand Est Développement. It aims to position the Grand Est region as a key player in hybrid quantum-HPC computing at national and European levels.

MaQuEst fosters collaboration between research and industry, supports innovation and startup creation, and develops use cases in strategic sectors such as biotech, AI, finance, and operations research. With physical sites in Strasbourg, Reims, and Troyes. MaQuEst builds a strong quantum ecosystem through cross-border cooperation and technology transfer.

 

Your mission:

As a Business Developer hired by University of Strasbourg – Institute for Supramolecular Science and Engineering (ISIS) – European Center for Quantum Sciences (CESQ), you will support the entire MaQuEst consortium by:

  • Identifying and engaging companies in the Grand Est region interested in quantum and hybrid computing technologies
  • Collaborating with technical teams to assess industrial needs and support emerging projects
  • Designing and leading outreach activities such as events, B2B meetings, and trade fairs
  • Developing sustainable business models and funding strategies to ensure MaQuEst’s long-term success
  • Building partnerships with regional, national, and European innovation ecosystems

 

Profile & skills:

  • Master’s degree (business, engineering, innovation, entrepreneurship)
  • Experience in innovation support, especially in deeptech
  • Good understanding of quantum and HPC challenges
  • Skilled with CRM tools and professional communication in English
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Comfortable in international and multi-stakeholder environments
