In celebration of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology 2025, the EU Quantum Flagship EDI Working Group and Diversity in Quantum have teamed up to launch the Global Quantum Needs Assessment 2025. This is the first such attempt to identify and address the needs of the global quantum science community.

Your input will help us and our partners across Europe and the globe:
Identify unmet needs within the quantum science community
Assess what’s working and what’s not in quantum research, education, and industry
Benchmark representation and lived experiences in quantum science and technology
Additionally, survey participants can opt into a multiple-round drawing for $500 travel scholarships and volunteer for follow-up interviews on their experiences in quantum.
The results of the survey will provide a clearer understanding of the current situation within the community and help prioritise future actions to foster inclusivity.
Participants are encouraged to take part, although some questions address sensitive topics which could be potentially upsetting.
