Qubit Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Senior Researcher to lead our project on fault-tolerant quantum computing for quantum chemistry applications as a part of its development to develop fault tolerant quantum computing algorithms and perform resource estimation for chemistry application.

Your role
Lead the development of fault-tolerant quantum algorithms and error-correction protocols.
Conduct and oversee simulations to validate the developed techniques.
Collaborate with hardware providers, software developers, and research institutions.
Mentor junior researchers and students involved in the project.
Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present at conferences.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in quantum computing and quantum chemistry.
Your Qualifications
Phd in quantum computing or relative field.
Minimum of 5 years work experience in the quantum computing field.
Quantum computing background, with extensive experience in developing new fault tolerant algorithms, and performing resource estimation.
Development of quantum algorithms for chemistry application, with strong knowledge of universal techniques such as quantum phase estimation.
Good knowledge of fundamentals of classical numerical methods and theory of quantum chemistry, such as molecular orbitals theory, variational methods and perturbation theory is preferred.
Strong programming skills, preferably in Python, and familiarity with quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, OpenFermion).
Published high quality scientific research.
Strong experience of independent work, supervising junior colleagues/students.
