In the context of education activities on Quantum, University Côte d’Azur is organising with the support of the European network EIT Digital and of QuantEDU-France, a summer school on "Quantum Computation and information" for the week of 9-14 July 2023 in Nice, in the heart of French Riviera. EIT Digital is Europe’s largest digital innovation ecosystem thanks to a pan-European network of universities, companies and research institutes working together around digital training, innovation and entrepreneurship projects. The school aims at transmitting an overview of Quantum information to young professionals, as well as to master's or doctoral students who are not specialised in the subject. The scope is to make them aware of scientific and economical potentiality of quantum industry as well as to make them understand the challenges linked to the deployment of new quantum technologies. The school will mix practical works and student group-working with a consistent amount of theory classes. It will start from basic quantum information and computing to progressively move toward applied topics on quantum cryptography and networks, on post-quantum and on quantum cloud. A particular attention will be paid to entrepreneurship in quantum, with speakers presenting current trends, supports, and possible warning points from different points of view. Students from Universities members of the EIT-Digital network benefit from a 50% reduction on the inscription fee (to be specified at the inscription moment). The school provides a work amount equivalent to 2 ECTS. Inscriptions can be done here: https://summerschool.eitdigital.eu/quantum-computing-information The deadline is the 1st of June. Due to the limited number of places, we encourage you to proceed with your inscription as soon as possible. The inscription covers lunches, coffee breaks and all social activities.
