On April 10-11, 2025, Lviv will host the International Scientific Event Dedicated to World Quantum Day for the third time. The event aims to popularize quantum theory and bring together scientists, IT community representatives, students, and high school students to discuss the challenges of quantum mechanics, achievements, and prospects of quantum technologies and quantum programming.
The event program will include activities of interest to both beginners in quantum mechanics (high school students, university students) and researchers, as well as representatives of the IT community. Specifically, the event will feature:
I. A School on Quantum Information and Quantum Programming for high school students, university students, and all interested participants.
II. A Scientific Conference on Quantum Information and Quantum Programming with invited speakers—renowned scientists from around the world.
III. Talks and panel discussions involving researchers, educators, business representatives, and the general public. The goal is to discuss recent advances in quantum technologies, the prospects of quantum programming, and the achievements over the past five years of Ukraine's first bachelor's degree program in "Quantum Computers and Quantum Programming" at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
