With reference to the ongoing open call on the Quantum Grand Challenge Call, the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) will organise together with DG CONNECT and EIB, on Friday, 28 November (10:00 CET) an Information Session focusing on the call.
The following topics will be discussed:
- General structure of the action and its segmentation into different phases
- Eligibility conditions, modalities and general information on Phase 2.
The discussion will be followed by a dedicated open Q&A session.

Background
Through this call, HORIZON-JU-EUROHPC-2026-QGC-02: Quantum Grand Challenge, the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking is inviting European quantum computing startups to develop integrated hardware–software quantum computing solutions with strong market potential.
The call for Phase 1, with a total indicative budget of EUR 4 million, opened on 14 October 2025, and closes on 8 January 2026 at 17:00 CET (Brussels/Luxembourg time).
Applications for Phase 1 must be submitted via the EU Funding & Tenders Portal by 8 January 2026. More details can be found on this dedicated webpage.
