The HellasQCI project announces the 3rd Training Event “Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Cyber Security” which will be held on September 4-5, 2024 in Heraklion, Crete, Greece. The Training is organised by the European co-funded project “HellasQCI – Deploying advanced national QCI systems and networks in Greece”, coordinated by the National Infrastructures for Research and Technology (GRNET), operating under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Digital Governance.
The purpose of this event is to train the new generation of engineers in quantum technologies and cybersecurity, allowing Greece and other countries to be ready for the operation of the European Quantum Communications Infrastructure – EuroQCI. The training focuses on Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) systems, Cybersecurity and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) issues.
The event is suitable for cybersecurity professionals, computer scientists and engineers, as well as students, researchers and academics working in the fields of optical and quantum technologies. The event will feature presentations from National Quantum Communications Infrastructure (NatQCIs) Projects from across Europe.
The event is held in a hybrid mode. Those who will attend the event in-person will receive a certificate of attendance.
