AQT pushing the performance of Quantum Computing in Europe
Alpine Quantum Technologies - AQT demonstrates a Quantum Volume of 128 on its 19-inch rack-compatible Quantum Computer system PINE. This achievement marks a considerable success for quantum in Europe, with a PINE system designed by Alpine Quantum Technologies, and a first prototype validated in the Quantum Flagship project AQTION at the University of Innsbruck.
The Austrian quantum computing stratup is very proud with this milestone and new record for Europe : « Our team is happy and proud of achieving this important milestone - creating and providing cutting-edge technology for the quantum ecosystem in Europe are the main goals of the company » says Thomas Monz, CEO of AQT.
The goal being to solve complex problems with quantum, the startup will make the system available to further support their projects « AQT solutions have been used as a testbed to investigate quantum benefits in the fields of chemistry, portfolio optimisation, risk analysis, quantum security and decryption ».
