We are searching for a Student assistant (m/f/d) for the “QuTec” project. This project conducts research on the landscape of QT, innovation and transformation expectations, and societal aspects of quantum technologies. This involves organizing outreach activities, surveys and interviews with researchers in the field and workshops on responsible research and innovation (RRI) in this area. Tasks - Assisting in collection and analysis of existing data on QT ecosystems (publications, patents, grant applications, etc.) - Generation and analysis of qualitative data on QT (Delphi studies, surveys, interviews, etc.) - Literature research on topics related to QT (innovation, societal aspects, technology assessment, etc.) - Participation in general project activities (reports, workshops, etc.) If you are interested, you can write a thesis on this topic. Qualifications - English and German language skills - Basic literacy in and an enthusiasm towards learning some of the following programs / packages or equivalent tools (NVivo, VosViewer, Sci2 Tool, Gephi, R-biblioshiny / bibliometrix, SoSci survey, etc.) What we offer - A pleasant working atmosphere in a dedicated interdisciplinary team of experienced scientists - A workplace in the center of Karlsruhe (near Europaplatz) - The opportunity to get to know the work in technology assessment by means of an exciting research topic
