MaQuEst is a new initiative led by the University of Strasbourg and its partners, as part of France’s national quantum strategy. Based at the European Center for Quantum Sciences (CESQ), MaQuEst aims to position the Grand Est region as a major hub for quantum and high-performance computing.

With sites in Strasbourg, Reims, and Troyes, MaQuEst connects research, industry, and innovation to accelerate the adoption of quantum technologies and support concrete applications in fields like AI, biotech, finance, and logistics.

In this context, CESQ is recruiting a Quantum Pack Engineer to help develop use cases, foster collaborations between academia and industry, and coordinate regional activities in hybrid quantum computing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to research activities, especially in hybrid quantum computing
  • Build links with academic partners and foster collaborative projects between academia and industry, focusing on business-relevant use cases
  • Coordinate with technical engineers across the three MaQuEst sites and the business developer
  • Promote the outcomes and applications of Quantum Pack initiatives
