Excited to share a new opportunity within the QOMUNE project (Quantum Optical MUltidimensional Network), funded by the ERC Starting Grant – Horizon Europe.

We are opening a postdoctoral position focused on:

Development and testing of multidimensional quantum photonic devices
The project aims to push the boundaries of integrated quantum photonics, working on:

• High-dimensional quantum information (qudits, d > 2)
• Photonic integrated circuits for quantum state generation and manipulation
• Scalable quantum logic and advanced QKD protocols
• Integration of quantum sources and detectors on-chip

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in quantum technologies within an international and highly interdisciplinary environment.

Based in Florence, Italy, starting from September 2026.
