The newly established Center for Hybrid Quantum-Classical Information Technologies at the University of Warsaw has been created thanks to the funding from the Foundation for Polish Science under the International Research Agendas Programme (MAB FENG). Our mission is to bridge the gap between quantum science and real-world applications, focusing on four complementary research areas:
Quantum-Safe Communication – developing security proofs, device-independent QKD protocols, and hybrid quantum-post-quantum solutions for secure networks
Quantum Communication Infrastructure & Photonics – building advanced photonic components, quantum light sources, and interfaces for ICT integration
Quantum Computing & AI – designing hybrid algorithms, neuromorphic architectures, and quantum machine learning solutions
We are proud to collaborate with outstanding international partners, as well as industry partners including Google Poland, Orange Polska and PCSS.
Open Positions
QLAB will soon open recruitment for positions at all career levels:
Group Leader (Quantum Computing & AI) – a unique opportunity for an outstanding researcher to build and lead a team in hybrid quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, and quantum AI
Postdoctoral Researchers – positions in both theory and experiment across all research areas
PhD Students – fully funded positions with comprehensive mentorship programs
Research Assistants – opportunities for talented BSc/MSc students
We offer competitive salaries, access to state-of-the-art research infrastructure, an international research environment, and professional development opportunities.
