The first day will reflect on the first 100 years of quantum mechanics, revisiting its foundational breakthroughs—from Heisenberg, Schrödinger and Dirac to EPR and Bell’s inequalities and beyond. The evolution of quantum theory will be charted from its early abstract framework, with associated conceptual difficulties, to today’s unifying pillar of modern physics, which underpins many fields from condensed matter to particle physics and the technologies that enabled the digital revolution. The second day will focus on the future of quantum science and its expanding role in technology and society. Plenary talks and panel discussions will explore frontier topics in quantum computing, sensing, and communication, alongside insights from industry leaders and conversations on innovation, workforce, and sustainability.
