Conference for Young Quantum Information Scientists (YQIS25)

06.10 10.10.2025 | LIV Student (Barcelona) Spanien

Join Young Quantum Information Scientists (YQIS) conference, taking place in Barcelona, from 6 to 10 October. YQIS is a conference series organised by and for PhD students and early-career researchers working across the broad field of quantum information. It provides a platform for young scientists to present their latest work and engage with the wider research community.

Topics covered include quantum foundations, quantum computing, quantum machine learning, many-body physics, and quantum cryptography. The programme will feature tutorial-style talks (approximately one hour each), designed to be accessible to all PhD students in quantum information science. This year, the event is expected to welcome around 200 participants, including approximately 40 contributed talks (15 minutes plus 5 minutes for Q&A) and two poster sessions.

Applications for talks and posters are open until 18 July 2025, and the registration deadline is 15 August. A limited number of travel fellowships will also be available, with applications for financial support open until 1 August.
