    Organized in the framework of the Quantum Flagship projects ASTERIQS and macQsimal, the Basel Quantum Metrology and Sensing Conference 2020 (BQMS-2020) will take place on 12-14 February 2020 to highlight the state of the art and most recent advances in quantum sensing and quantum metrology with atomic and solid-state spin systems.

  • Quantum Flagship projects QIA and S2QUIP at ‘Science is Wonderful!’ exhibition

    From 25-26 of September, the Quantum Flagship projects QIA and S2QUIP participated in the ‘Science is Wonderful!’ exhibition in the frame of the European Research and Innovation Days in Brussels, Belgium. Each project had its singular space, and invited young visitors to discover quantum technologies and learn about the exciting world of the quantum internet.

  • “Europe’s future is quantum” – post by Khalil Rouhana

    Khalil Rouhana, Deputy director-general of DG Connect at the European Commission and speaker at the event, wrote a post for the Digital Single Market blog about the need of maintaining Europe as a leader in quantum technologies by building an ecosystem based on research, deployment and skills.

  • European quantum experts will meet in Helsinki to review the progress of quantum technologies and set future strategies

    Organised by the Finnish Presidency, Aalto University, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, the Academy of Finland, and the Quantum Flagship, the event will take place on October 17-18.Representatives from the quantum technology communities will review present accomplishments within the field as well as establish future visions and strategic goals to position the region as a leader in the field.The first day will conclude with a panel discussion on policy topics, focusing on establishing a European infrastructure on Quantum Technologies.
