  • Quantum Flagship event “Exploring and Making Quantum Technology”

    On July 1st 2019, and for the remaining of 2019, Finland took over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. As part of its institutional and scientific agenda, on October 17-18th it will be hosting the Finnish Presidency-Quantum Flagship event entitled “Exploring and Making Quantum Technology”.

  • Survey on QT use cases

    The QFlag coordination and support action facilitates the adoption of quantum technologies among industry stakeholders by bringing them together and making relevant information easily available. The identification of existing and new use cases is a key point to achieve this goal.

  • Call for proposals to organise the next EQTC conference 2020

    In 2020, a major interdisciplinary, international conference on quantum technologies will be organized in week 48, 2020. The conference programme will reflect the scope and impact of the European Quantum Flagship spanning research to innovation and including an industry track.

  • Quantum Flagship discusses research and innovation strategy

    End of February 2019, the first European Quantum Technology Conference, initiated by the European funding initiative Quantum Flagship, took place in Grenoble. Members of the research community presented current developments and worked together on the strategic orientation of the program.

  • The Quantum Flagship at the Mobile World Congress

    Supported by the European Commission, visitors to the Quantum Flagship space were able to learn about quantum technologies, in particular quantum communications, which in the future will search to improve the telecommunications arena.

  • Survey of QT Outreach and Training

    The Quantum Flagship coordination action is working on coordinating training activities in the area of modern quantum technologies in Europe. As a starting point, we would like to understand and survey what already exists.
