Quantum network engineer


VeriQloud is a company based in Paris and created in 2017. We work on quantum communication, with a full stack expertise, ranging from optical communications to applications of quantum cryptography. Our main focus is to engineer solutions to integrate quantum communication technologies in operational environment, and to design new applications for these technologies.
VeriQloud’s team has a very strong expertise in quantum communication. We evolve in a lively environment with industrial and academic collaborations. In particular, we are a member of the quantum internet alliance, a consortium funded by the EU flagship for quantum technologies and led by QuTech at the Technical University of Delft (http://quantum-internet.team)
We are hiring a cryptography research engineer to help our development. The central tasks is to propose, analyse and implement communication protocols for current and future quantum networks. The recruited person will also work in close collaboration with industrial partners to analyse their needs in terms of cyber-security, and introduce strategies to address them using quantum technologies.
The ideal candidate has a PhD in computer science or mathematics, a strong taste for cryptography and has a some experience with programming. No priori experience with quantum information is required. We will train the recruited candidate on the basic concepts of the area.
