Quantum Technology

The Fraunhofer institute for photonic microsystems IPMS Dresden conducts applied research and development on international top level in the fields of photonic microsystems, microsystem technologies, nanoelectronic technologies and wireless microsystems. Current activities also include the fabrication of solid-state qubits based on semiconductors and superconductors. The institute holds two cleanrooms for 150/200 mm and 300 mm wafers, equipped with state-of-the-art tools for fabrication and metrology.
