Saarland University - Quantum and solid-state theory group

The quantum and solid state theory group at Saarland University focuses on the implementation of quantum computers with solid-state systems, primarily superconducting circuits. It is addressing the whole stack of applications, including materials, circuit design, optimal control theory, decoherence and noise, benchmarking as well as applications and algorithms and analysis of societal and economic impact of quantum computing. The groups is engaged in projects of gate-based quantum computing with and without error correction as well as quantum annealing.
