Anchored In was founded by Dr Anke Lohmann and Ian Tracey in 2016.
Having spent decades working in the Public Sector, leading teams which focused on technologies, research commercialisation and knowledge transfer, SME support and industrial policy, we decided to begin an independent venture: Anchored In. We now deploy innovative approaches to supporting customers, and with far more flexibly than before, building on our extensive experience, creativity and a broad global network of contacts to support our customers.
Our core expertise covers everything from quantum, photonics and digital technologies to company growth, public and private funding, and market research.
We are passionate about supporting the realisation of business ideas; advancing company development through product innovation and access to investment. Our services to academic institutions and policymakers work to further business and academic engagement to drive economic growth and to accelerate the commercialisation of pioneering and potentially world-changing technologies.
