Learning quantum concepts with quantum cryptographyA teaching unit was developed with the goal to contribute to general education in quantum physics with the example of a fascinating example, the quantum cryptography. This teaching unit does not require prerequisites and is suitable for high school students. It uses simulations, worksheets and own activities of students. Also school teachers can use it as an introduction into this field.
LearnQMLearnQM is a website that hosts digital games and interactive visualizations for learning quantum and semiconductor physics. It currently hosts three digital artifacts: Particle in a Box, Psi and Delta, and Semiconductor Visualizations. The website was developed by an interdisciplinary team of researchers at Georgia Institute of Technology.

Teaching Science in Today’s Society: The Case of Particle Physics for Primary SchoolsThe rapid changes in science and technology witnessed in recent decades have significantly contributed to the arousal of the awareness by decision-makers and the public as a whole of the need to strengthen the connection between outreach activities of universities and research institutes and the activities of educational institutions, with a central role played by schools. While the relevance of the problem is nowadays unquestioned, no unique and fully satisfactory solution has been identified. In the present paper we would like to contribute to the discussion on the subject by reporting on an ongoing project aimed to teach Particle Physics in primary schools. We will start from the past and currently planned activities in this project in order to establish a broader framework to describe the conditions for the fruitful interplay between researchers and teachers. We will also emphasize some aspects related to the dissemination of outreach materials by research institutions, in order to promote the access and distribution of scientific information in a way suited to the different age of the target students.

Warsaw Quantum Computing Group meetupsWe organize meetings of the Warsaw Quantum Computing Group (WQCG). It is a series of meetups for quantum computing enthusiasts in Warsaw, its goal is to facilitate education and collaboration of people interested in quantum computing. Recordings of the lectures are available on our YouTube channel.

Quantum digital-experiment kit (Photoeffect)This set of videos cover one of the typical experiments in high school regarding quantum physics, the photoeffect. With this approach we offer the user a different way, closer to research, to understand the experiments around the concept of the photoeffect.

Playing with a Quantum Computer: teaching approachWe show a direct and straightforward way to use quantum computers in an introductory course on quantum physics. We use an algorithm that solves a simple and easily understandable problem while providing a quantum advantage. The algorithm we propose is a simple game (Quantum Penny Flip) in which the use of quantum physics offers a winning advantage.

Quantum Cryptography Educational Kit Teaching MaterialThis manual describes the different steps of the BB84 protocol => how polarization states are prepared, how the key is generated between Alice and Bob and how Eve's presence is always detected. Numerous graphics are included to help in teaching this exciting topic.
Quantum Cryptography Educational KitThis presentation explains how the BB84 quantum crypto protocol works and demonstrates an educational setup which allows students to play through all of the BB84 steps (set a polarization state, generate a key, encrypt, send, decrypt and, finally, how an eavesdropper is detected).
Quantenkoffer physics science kit - Polarization EntanglementThe Quantenkoffer is a quantum physics science kit for a multitude of experiments from 100 years of quantum optics. This short video shows polarization entanglement of photon pairs.
Bronze-QiskitBronze is QWorld's introductory tutorial on quantum computing and quantum programming created in October 2018. Bronze-Qiskit is the version of Bronze using Qiskit as the quantum programming framework. It was released in February 2021 with the support of IBM Quantum.
