4-year-Postdoc position on VUV frequency comb development at LMU Munich/Germany

You will participate in the development of a VUV frequency-comb based laser designed for driving world’s first optical nuclear clock. While your contract will be with LMU Munich, the practical work will be in the first 2 years located at the Institute for Laser technology of the Fraunhofer Association in Aachen, Germany. Then the laser will be transferred to Garching (near Munich) to be operated there
