Tenure track professor position at the European Center for Quantum Sciences of the University of Strasbourg

Junior tenure track professor position (5 years) at the University of Strasbourg, affiliated with Télécom Physique Strasbourg and the Institut de Science et d’Ingénierie Supramoléculaires (UMR 7006 research unit).
The successful candidate will develop a cutting-edge research plan in the broad field of quantum science and technology, for example pertaining to hybrid quantum systems, light-matter coupled systems or quantum information. The successful candidate is expected to fit into the particularly interdisciplinary local environment and contribute to multiple national and international collaborations and networks set up recently. S/he will contribute to setting up a new pedagogical curriculum in the Physics Department of Télécom Physique Strasbourg.

Then, s/he will present, to the selection committee only, his (her) vision of the educational curriculum to be built, and will provide a short lesson on a theoretical concept chosen from among the potential topics of the curriculum (duration: 10 minutes). A discussion between the candidate and the selection committee only will follow (approximately 40 minutes). In addition, the candidate must provide by e-mail to a single file including : - CV and 2 letters of recommendation - research project (5 pages maximum without references) - a statement of teaching experience and teaching philosophy (2 pages)
