Scrum Master (w/m/d)

German Aerospace Center (DLR)

At the Hamburg Lokstedt site, the Institute of Software Technology is involved in the Innovation Centre of the DLR Quantum Computing Initiative. This combines the expertise of DLR and companies to decisively advance the development of quantum computers, some of which are being built directly on site. As DLR’s experts in quantum computing, we support our partners through closely coordinated research and development in the areas of compilation of quantum algorithms, applications of near-term quantum computers and making them available to end users.
In addition to the exciting, concrete research questions, we are motivated by the vision of a fully functional quantum computer that will solve problems that are unsolvable for conventional computers.
Become a part of this exciting project and enable your interdisciplinary team as its Scrum Master to exploit its great potential in the best possible way. You will achieve this through the committed implementation of your tasks:
– You will take responsibility for the Scrum process in your team, which includes five researchers and developers as well as a product owner.
– You lead your colleagues in agile methods and live the agile values (e.g. focus on individuals and their cooperation, as well as flexibility) without having personnel responsibility.
– You organise and moderate the Scrum meetings of your team. This includes daily meetings as well as meetings that take place in a sprint rhythm.
– You collect obstacles that interfere with the work of the researchers and developers in your team and initiate their removal.
This position is based on half of the regular weekly working hours. Your salary is based on the TVöD and your pay grade is up to E 11, depending on your qualifications and the tasks assigned to you. Like all employees in our institute, you can work part of your working time in the form of mobile work, e.g. from home. We will be happy to find with you the ideal solution for your requirements arising from private duties. Our diverse range of training courses and other forms of events enable you to develop professionally and personally.
