The Quantum Informatics group, at the University of Edinburgh is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position (18 months), to work on a project on the use of machine learning techniques to mitigate the effects of noise in the performance of near-term quantum algorithms. The research will be supervised by Dr Petros Wallden and Dr Raul Garcia-Patron, and is part of a project “Noise Analysis and Mitigation for Scalable Quantum Computing” involving University of Edinburgh, Cambridge Quantum Ltd and the National Physical Laboratory and it is funded by the ISCF UKRI.
