What you will do:
We are looking for an experienced Firmware Engineer to assist in the development and implementation of the QKD system.
Key responsibilities:
-Working as part of a team to design, develop and implement firmware in the signal processing layer of the QKD system.
-Designing validation, verification, and test procedures for the firmware of the system.
-Improving the reliability of the already developed firmware.
-Providing post-development support for the team.
-Collaborating with the other teams at LuxQuanta in a dynamic research and development environment.
Requirements:
-M.Sc. or PhD in Electronic, Telecommunication, or Computer Engineering.
-Experience in Linux device drivers with strong C programming skills.
-Deep knowledge of Linux OS, kernel objects, and drivers.
-Experience in real-time hardware and software design using ARM processor.
-Experience in Embedded Linux hardware/software programming.
-Being familiar with FPGA, Xilinx tools, and Python programming is desirable.
-At least 2 years of experience.
-Fluent in English.
