4 fully-funded PhDs in TU Delft on Aerospace, Machine Learning and Quantum Computing

Delft University of Technology

4 fully-funded PhDs are available in Delft University of Technology under the joint supervision of researchers from the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science. We will explore the exciting interdisciplinary areas of Quantum Computing and Machine Learning with aerospace applications on composites optimization and materials radiation modelling. 2 PhDs will be focusing on aerospace applications with ML and QC (lead supervisors: Boyang Chen, Yinglu Tang, Roeland De Breuker): - Optimization of Composite Laminates (https://lnkd.in/dEbxDK5S). - Modelling of the Interaction of High-Energy Radiation and Space Materials (https://lnkd.in/dunJwR3R). 2 PhDs will be focusing on algorithms development on ML and QC (lead supervisors: Sebastian Feld, Matthias Möller): - Iterative Hybrid Optimization Algorithm (https://lnkd.in/dJaWaJmc). - Learning Surrogate Modelling (https://lnkd.in/dwXNpuHu). Deadline for application is 1 Feb 2022. Please only apply online through the TU Delft portal.
