Quantum Technology

The Young Atom Optician conference (YAO) is an annual international meeting aimed at PhD students and young scientists in the interdisciplinary field of optical quantum technologies, such as quantum information or atomic and molecular physics. The goal is to provide the participants with a unique platform to exchange their latest scientific results and to extend their professional network among the future leading scientists in this field. Since 1995 it has been organised by PhD students in different institutes all over Europe. Previous editions took place among others in Glasgow (2018), Paris (2017), Munich (2016) and Zurich (2015). The conference is open to participants from all countries.

The 25th Edition of the YAO conference will take place from 28 July to 2 August 2019 in Hamburg.
