Summer School - A toolbox for Quantum Technologies with Light and Matter

The school “A toolbox for quantum technologies with light and matter” consists of a one week course on quantum technologies including the recent advances covering general concepts and some of the most promising platforms.

The course is targeted for graduate students and emphasizes formal lectures building on textbook knowledge. Undergraduates at the European Masters level who are planning a PhD study are invited to apply as well as young post-docs entering the field.

Depending on the sanitary situation, the list of speakers could be modified.

Artificial atoms for Quantum technologies: Mikhail Lukin, Harvard, USA [to be confirmed]
Quantum Optics using Rydberg atoms: Ofer Firstenberg, Weizmann Institute, Israel

According to the current sanitary situation, the school will happen almost normally However, in case of situation change, the school might be cancelled or modified to an online meeting.

Due to the uncertainty with the current sanitary situation, we will accept applications until the school is full.
Please apply, only if you seriously consider that you will able to travel to France in September 2020.
