Graduate´s Profile

Graduates will acquire a great knowledge of modern parts of physics, particularly of quantum theory, solid state physics, and laser physics, and, with a view to their specialization, also of quantum optics, quantum information, lasers, or physics of nanomaterials.

Graduates are skilled in using methods and tools of modern parts of mathematics and physics to solve theoretical and real engineering research and scientific problems of quantum theory, quantum optics, quantum theory of information, theory of solids, and physics and technology of lasers. They are able to use modern technology and laboratory instrumentation, follow new trends in their respective field and promptly orient themselves in interdisciplinary issues, analyse problems and synthetize results.
